We have precious Miniature Australian Shepherd Puppies ready for their new home. Mini Aussies make a perfect dog for active families and are great with children. These working dogs are loving, active and with training are great for herding sheep, goats, cows and more. They need space to run and work in order to be happy and content (and in good behavior). Dam and Sire are both dually registered AKC and ASDR. Our pups are currently two weeks old and will be ready for your home the weekend of March 29th. We have three females and three males. Puppies will leave our home with their first set of shots and dewormed. We have been farming since 1987 and downsized to a small farm in 2015. We have sheep, goats, Aussies, LGDs and experience with many other farming animals. We are responsible, humane and loving farmers committed to sustainability. This is truly heart work for us. The Miniature Australian Shepherd is a well-balanced dog of medium size and bone. He is attentive and animated, showing strength and stamina combined with unusual agility. Slightly longer than tall, he has a coat of moderate length and coarseness with coloring that offers variety and individuality in each specimen. An identifying characteristic is his natural or docked bobtail. In each sex, masculinity or feminity is well-defined. Bone is moderate and clean with coarseness, heaviness or lightness being undesirable. Overall type, balance of conformation and movement are valued more highly than individual structural perfections because it is balance which enables him to fulfill his purpose.
