Posted Breed: Cane Corso Mastiff / Mixed (short coat). Hi there, my name is Sadie! If you’re looking for a beautiful, gentle Cane Corso mix look no further. My name is Sadie and I’m one lucky girl. I’m approximately 2 years old and weigh a delicate 88 pounds. Since I am a large breed, I need to go to a family that is familiar with taking care of a special girl like me. I don’t want to brag, but I am beautiful. I’m being fostered right now by Miss Debbie. I’m totally vaccinated and just recently have been spayed. I’m afraid of cats they give me the willies. I really don’t like to share my water bowl with other dogs. I don’t think I’ve been around children since Miss Debbie doesn’t have any at her home. I like walking on a leash and enjoy chew toys and treats. Safe Pet Project has put me in their “No Paws Left Behind “ program. A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds.
