Bright eyes and an inquisitive personality are great starting traits to begin a journey to a happily ever after and our girl Jade as well as her sisters are doing just that. We believe that good things come in fun packages and these girls are ready to meet their forever families. They are 6-month-old terrier mixes that are truly a great bunch. With lots exiting times ahead for all of them, these girls just want to have fun. Now let us introduce Jade. She is a gem of a girl with a few small splashes of white on her mostly black coat. She is currently 26 pounds, and she is estimated to be around 50 pounds when she is fully grown. She will a great size for a family that likes a dog not too big and not too small. With lots of pep that comes along with the puppy months in her life, she enjoys a good play session but she also has a mellow side to her as well. Since she is great with other dogs and children, Jade is front and center to get in the middle of all the action by her love of playing with other dogs but is ready for couch snuggles as soon as you are. She can be a little shy when first meeting new people but that shyness melts away quickly with kindness and puppy treats. During her down time, she is content on entertaining herself with a bone or a toy. She has not had the opportunity to be introduced to a cat since coming into rescue, so her acceptance of a feline companion is unknown. She is fully crate trained and sleeps all night long in her crate and will even put herself to bed if her humans stay up too late. There are skills to be achieved like house and leash training, but Jade is working hard on achieving each one and with the assistance of her family, she is sure the cross the finish line in no time at all. She is close to being house trained and she will paw at the door when she needs to go outside to potty. She has already mastered the commands of sit and down. That is a great foundation to building up to learn more commands. She is quite a clever young lady. As with all puppies, Jade is full of curiosity and wonderment, and is ready to grow from adorable puppy to amazing dog with the right guidance and patience. She will need a home with someone who has the time, desire and energy to train and socialize her so that she can become the perfect lifelong companion. Her personality is priceless, and her heart never stops loving. Jade will thrive in a family that will provide lots of love, commitment and cherish her for her whole life.
