Lola's the type of gal that would gladly accompany you on a run, jog or brisk walk to get all her sillies out! Despite being 3 years old, this little lady still has major puppy energy. She adores playtime and would love to frolic around in a yard with her big floppy tongue blowing in the wind. Her zoomies are quite a majestic sight to behold! As a higher energy girl, Lola would really benefit from an adopter who has the time, and enthusiasm to care for an active doggo! Her fosters have described her as a wonderful and loving pup, who's always looking to please her humans. This silly girl is a huge tug of war enthusiast and can spend hours chewing and fetching her squeaking toys. So, get ready for a workout! When miss Lola chills out after a long hard day of being a goofball, she becomes a squishy cuddle-monster who wants nothing more than to lay with her humans! Her fosters say that she loves to nestle into their laps and rest her big head on yours. Lola would benefit from further training to help her learn how to redirect her excitable and eager nature as she can sometimes get jumpy, or mouthy while meeting people or during playtime. Otherwise, she's housetrained, crate-trained and often well-behaved on leash. Her foster has noted that she occasionally pulls on walks when seeing other dogs, but takes treats as a distraction! Lola is little afraid of vacuums so she might need a bit of coddling or an extra treat on cleaning day! Luckily, her reaction in manageable as she's responds by hiding or avoiding the room where the vacuum is being used. Lola's previous owner was unable to care for her, so neighbors took her in and connected with PAWS to find her a forever home! Lola has previously lived with toddlers, but we think with her "puppy-like" behaviors she would do better with older children that can handle her size and excitability! She has lived in two homes with both cats and dogs before. That being said, Lola can come on a little strong for cats and can be too insistent on trying to get cats to play with her. So, she would do better with a cat that's comfortable with playful curious energy and a home with enough space for them to decompress away from each other. Lola the lovebug is waiting for you!
