Posted Breed: Terrier / Mixed (medium coat). Adoption Fee: 400. Jett is an adorable, happy terrier mix boy who would make a great pet for almost anyone! He is extremely friendly and loves humans and dogs alike. Because he is still young and excitable, he can encroach on other dogs’ personal space a bit but only because he wants to give them kisses and engage them in play. Jett is house trained and is picking up some basic commands such as sit and down. He needs some work with his leash walking as he is easily distracted and tends to zig zag around himself and his walker. Jett absolutely loves mealtime and treats and shows no food aggression around other dogs. He will even do a little wiggly butt dance at mealtime to show his appreciation! Jett is a total lap dog and will happily climb into your lap any time he’s permitted. He is gentle and a very good cuddle buddy. He may like to be in a home with more than one person and/or an another dog so he has lots of buddies to hang out with. While he is house trained, he currently spends time in his crate when home alone and while it does make him a little sad (which he will express with some whining) he behaves well while crated. Jett is approximately 25 lbs and could stand to gain a pound or two which should be easy enough with a regular schedule of high quality food and treats. He could also use a little trim around the eyes but not much because how doggone cute is he with this floppy ‘do?! The adoption fee of $400 will include spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate/required vaccinations, treatment for heartworm and any other necessary medical treatment to assure a healthy new pup for your family.
