Posted Breed: Shepherd / Black Mouth Cur / Mixed. Don't let Dorado's serious face deter you; spend a little time with this sweet boy and you will learn what a playful goofball he can be! Dorado has spent most of his life in a shelter since he was 3 months old. He is around 9 months old and really deserves a chance at a forever home. We believe he is a mix of Shepherd, Black Mouth Cur and Hound. New things can be a little intimidating to this boy but it isn't long before he's crawling into your lap for hugs and attention. He has discovered the joy of toys and loves to spread them all over the house. He is learning how to play with other dogs and loves to run and play in the backyard. He is very playful with like minded dogs and loves kids. He would likely benefit from a confident dog sibling, but as long as his family is patient and continues his socialization, he would also be ok on his own. He is housetrained but would do best in a home with his own backyard. He is learning his commands, rides well in the car, and sleeps in his crate at night in his foster home.
