Meet Leia, a delightful foster dog in search of her forever home. Leia would thrive in a laid-back environment with low foot traffic and would likely benefit from the company of another dog. Initially shy, she blossoms into an easy-going, calm household companion with minimal socialization expectations. Leia’s unique background includes graduating with honors from a training program at the Central Mississippi Correctional Facility. While timid at first, she’s not aggressive just needing some time to establish her comfort level for safety. Crate-trained and well-behaved on a leash, Leia enjoys the company of other dogs and would flourish in a home with a resident canine friend. This lovely pup hasn’t been exposed to children and prefers a quiet atmosphere, avoiding loud noises. She tends to bond closely with women, displaying a clingy yet affectionate nature. Leia rarely barks, showcasing her loving and obedient demeanor. With low to moderate exercise needs and a medium energy level, Leia is an ideal companion for a calm and caring household. While Leia has had basic training, she could use a refresher and additional training with her new family. She would thrive in a serene environment. Her endearing response to the word “bye” signifies her readiness to head outdoors.
