Meet the ShiShi girls, a delightful blend of Shih Tzu, Chihuahua, and Dachshund, with a personality as unique as their lineage. The four sisters are tender-hearted pups, brimming with sweetness and shyness. Yet, when it's playtime, their lively spirit comes alive, captivating everyone around. Being just puppies, they will have so much to learn! They'll need house training, crate training and will need to learn to walk on a leash. We strongly recommend that all our dogs attend obedience classes because you get to learn commands together, and it offers an opportunity for confidence building and socialization for the pup. The girl’s gentle nature makes them an ideal companion for those seeking a loyal friend who can bring a sense of calm and joy. Their playfulness adds a touch of excitement to everyday life. Medical Note: A littermate of this dog is being treated/has been treated for demodectic mange, a non-contagious skin condition. As there is thought to potentially be a genetic component to predisposition to this condition, this dog has been preventatively treated though does not currently show any bald patches and/or thin fur in places. Please note that demodex can flare up in any dog in times of stress (e.g., transport, transition to a new home, change in food, etc.). As such, the adopter is advised to discuss this condition and best next steps with their veterinarian. SOS recommends that dogs with a history of demodectic mange be kept on regular NexGard or Bravecto for flea/tick prevention for at least 3 months after adoption for adults or until 18 months of age for puppies.
