Posted Breed: . Peanut the Pomsky Puppy! Born February 7th, 2024! Peanut is a handsome chocolate tan point puppy with two beautiful hazel eyes! Peanut is one of a kind and very distinctive looking pup! Peanut is very sweet and playful, he is happy and eager to please. Peanut will have a very easy transition into his new home with his future family! He is very well socialized with friends, family, our adult dogs and also gets to play with our two kids often! We are predicting Peanut to be anywhere from 15-20lbs fully grown. His mother Delilah is an F1 Pomsky and weighs 27lbs, His dad Diego is a Pomeranian and weighs 13lbs making them the ideal sized parents for this fun loving F1b Pomsky breed. Peanut is ready to go to his forever home since he turned 8 weeks old on April 3rd, you could take him home today! All our Parents are Genetic Tested and Breed Certified through embark. All our puppies get vet checked between 6-7 weeks old and we keep them all up to date on their vaccinations and dewormings. As dog breeders we take pride in pouring our time and energy into making sure each puppy is healthy and well-socialized so they have an easy transition into their forever homes. We have a Website, Instagram, Tiktok, and Facebook page all called - KetteringPomskies - that shows everything we do and who we are! Our website link can be found in our breeder profile. We are Located in Kettering, Ohio and can be called/text anywhere from 8:00am - 10:00pm Eastern Time!

A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
