Parents have passed: OFA Elbows and Hips CAER vision health certified Passed cardiac Physical vet exam has determined no luxating patella in parents which is where the joints can dislocate or slide and are a known Pomeranian defect. A little about us, our first Pomsky was "affordable" (which means $2,000) and he grew to be over 50lb and developed luxating patella, an excruciatingly painful but unfortunately common defect in the breed. We vowed to make a difference, breeding an ethically health-tested Multigenerational Pomsky pair weighing under 20lbs from trusted and proven lines. While fluctuating weight, defects, and diseases can still happen, we can help you feel confident that the fur baby you take home is as healthy as we can possibly guarantee. We have performed an extensive panel of expensive and in-person health tests on our breeding pair with real vet ophthalmologists and optometrists, among other specialists. We also send vitamin supplements, recommended dog food, and complimentary health insurance for your pet. We know how hard it is to contend with an illness when it comes to your baby. We've done all we can to give your pet the best chance! A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
