Description
Posted Breed: Pomeranian (long coat). Meet Croissant, a five-year-old Pomeranian with a heart as sweet as her namesake pastry. Croissant is a cherished member of our "Bakers Dozen," a group of dogs who found themselves in a home with 15-18 other Pomeranians, but unfortunately, not receiving the proper care they deserved. Due to this neglect, Croissant's medical needs have been overlooked, and she experiences random seizures. Her medical tests all return with good levels, and her condition is termed idiopathic epilepsy. If these seizures persist, they may necessitate a costly MRI, so we're seeking a home that can provide the care and attention Croissant deserves, especially if her medical condition requires ongoing management. Despite her health challenges, we remain hopeful that with the right environment and care, her condition may improve. Croissant is also in the process of learning some basic skills, such as walking on a leash and mastering potty manners. While she may need assistance in these areas, she's eager to please and shows great potential for improvement. Additionally, she's familiar with using a peepee pad when confined to a small area. With her gentle demeanor, Croissant has so much love to offer to the right family willing to provide her with the care and patience she deserves.
