Dog Breed: Border Collie / Newfoundland Dog / Mixed (medium coat). Adoption Fee: 550. Nell is a sweet, adventurous, and independent pup. She might be a mix of Border Collie and probably lots of other things, maybe Newfie, and was born approx the 3rd week in July. She is ~15# at approx 7 weeks old, so has the potential to be quite a large dog, but it's totally a guess! She spends most of her day exploring the house or napping, with a few short bursts of play with her littermate in-between. She’s the perfect mix of cuddle-bug and independent. She settles easily for naps and at bedtime, and is quickly catching on to potty-training and has already learned to sit and lay down. She is extremely nervous about using the stairs, but has been doing fine with a lot of encouragement. Nell is a quiet pup who rarely barks or cries outside of playtime unless she’s waiting for her food bowl to be filled. She has interest in the resident cat, but is extremely respectful of his space.
