Dog Breed: German Shepherd Dog / Mixed (medium coat). Jax (A133713) is a 3-year-old German Shepherd mix who weighed 67 pounds on intake! 10/11/25 This sweet, loveable guy is Jax! Jax arrived at the shelter as a stray and is now looking for his new place to call home! Since he was a stray, we do not have any behavioral information on how Jax is in a home setting. While at the shelter, he has been a delight! He eagerly greets the care staff everyday and loves his treats! Jax has also done a great job at keeping his kennel clean indicating that he may already be housebroken! Keep in mind there is always an adjustment period as he gets settled into his new home and routine. We encourage his next owner to bring him to a basic obedience class to continue working on his manners. We do not know his experience level around children or other animals, so please ensure you are making appropriate introductions with all! If you are interested in meeting Jax, please let us know!
