Posted Breed: Silky Terrier / Mixed (long coat). Adoption Fee: 375.. Introducing OREO - the sweetest and most loving little Silky Terrier mix. He’s around 3 years old and weighs approximately 8 pounds. Oreo is a total lap dog - happiest to be with his person whether laying on their lap or the side of your leg; he’s also content to lay at your feet in the dog bed. Oreo’s foster mom says that he is “SO SWEET!” Oreo loves people and is great with other dogs, including large ones, albeit preferring calmer ones; he can also live easily with kitties because he ignores them. Oreo enjoys playing with toys and actually carries them around the house. This cutie will need a home where people are home more than not, and a fenced in yard for bathroom breaks. He walks easily on a leash, is crate trained and enjoys the comfort of sleeping in his crate with an open door (his space). Oreo will require regular grooming, approximately every 3 months or sooner. Due to Oreo’s small size, we have approved him for households with children 12 years and older. This dog has been examined by licensed veterinarians, tested for diseases and parasites, provided vaccines, been dewormed, neutered, and microchipped.
