    Breed: Boxer
    Sex: Male Male
    Age: Adult
    Location: USA
Posted Breed: Boxer (short coat). Figaro 5 year old fawn male Dog, cat, and kid friendly Basic obedience skills House trained Fostered in Spokane, WA Update 7/11/17** Sadly, Figaro lost his soulmate Willow recently; they were a bonded pair that had been together his entire life. You’ll note Willow in most of his pictures; she is the beautiful, silver faced girl. With the passing of Willow, Figaro will likely do best in a home with another Boxer female. He enjoys jumping onto a bed to cuddle up with the kids at night, is easy going and eager to please; he is willing to lounge around inside or hang out in the backyard without complaint. Figaro is active and even getting a toe removed hasn’t slowed him down. He loves being taken on walks and is perfect on a leash. Figaro was protective of his girl Willow, but he hasn’t had any problems with other female dogs or little dogs. This guy is very social and calm—we have not heard him bark. He is very treat motivated and has the sit command down pat. Through all his trials, his little butt hasn’t stopped wiggling. Willow and Figaro traveled lots of miles to get to Billings, Montana from California and were perfect angels the entire way. Luckily, the kids are home from school for the summer and pouring lots of love and playtime attention into his soul. It has helped keep him from grieving too deeply, but he is still looking for her. Figaro loves to play in the yard and will be looking for a buddy to romp with. He and Willow each had their favorite toys. Figaro’s are stuffed toys. He is a pawfully perfect pup that will be an excellent addition to anyone’s family. Posted Breed: Boxer (short coat). Icee 3.5 Years Old Male White and brown-eyed Natural ears and docked tail Dog friendly Kid friendly Okay with dog savvy cat Backs obedience Crate trained Fostered in Long Beach, WA Icee here. So far this foster thing has been pretty chill just like me. My foster mom says I am a real cool dude. I happen to agree with her. After a little bouncing around, I have landed in a stable environment and I really think it is the bomb. To show my appreciation, I even leave the cat alone most of the time, and if I forget they tell me "leave it" and I do. I know how to sit, lie, and shake my paw but I have not totally mastered stay yet. I have an old lady foster sister here and I understand that she is not a play mate but I sure would like to have one. Foster mom here, Icee is so smart, handsome, healthy, and mostly happy. He loves to go for walks and would make some one a great running companion or hiking partner. He is pretty good on a leash. He does try to pull when we first start out but we are working on heel and he is showing a faster response time and sticking with for longer stretches of time. Our six year old grandson spent the night and Icee really seemed to like him, bringing him toys and hanging out with him. He adapted to the cat and the senior dog very quickly. He is young still and needs good leader ship with consistent boundaries. He can get really excited but he is responsive to reminders and like all Boxers, is smart and occasionally stubborn but has never acted out. He has been a real pleasure. Location: USA
Posted Breed: Boxer (short coat). Eve 3 years old Brindle/White female Potty & Crate Trained Dog Friendly Fostered in Spokane, WA Eve is one of the oldest names in the book but, I am hardly old news. No way! I am trendy, hip, and always looking for a good time. I am a three year old Cali girl after all. How did I make it all the way to Washington? Well, my people forgot to take me with them when they moved, so I hitchhiked my way up the coast. Luckily, Wigglin’ Home Boxer Rescue took me in and I have been loved ever since. My hitchhiking days are behind me. My former family did crate train me and I have never made a mess in the house. I haven’t made a peep either. I am as quiet as can be but, I like to do interpretive dance to display my always superb mood. I am a joy to be around. I don’t think I ever have bad days. I do have one thing that is important to mention. It is . . . well . . . how should say this? Uhm . . . it’s a little embarrassing. I sometimes get a bad case of the zoomies. Yes, THE zoomies! When I get a bad case, my legs don’t hit the ground. I race and race and RACE around. I can’t slow down. I tuck my nub and off I go, where I’ll stop nobody knows. Warning: you may get a case of the Giggles when my zoomies flair up. My favorite times of the day are breakfast time and dinner time. I love any treat time in between, which means we can spend time training together. I could use some basic obedience skills, so this will work out great. I am eager to please and your opinion of me matters. I take very little in the way of corrections. Like I said, I am eager to please. I get along with small dogs, big dogs, girl dogs, and boy dogs. I am what you would call a social butterfly. I am just a fun-loving girl who loves everyone. You just can’t get it any better than that! I look forward to hogging the bed and licking you soon. Devious

    Breed: Boxer
    Sex: Male Male
    Age: Adult
    Location: USA
Posted Breed: Boxer (short coat). Devious Male 6 Years Old Deaf Has Epilepsy (daily medication) Dog friendly (can be big dog selective) Cat friendly w/dog savvy cats Fostered in Spokane, WA Hi! My name is Devious (I didn’t pick it, so don’t hold it against me please!). In fact, I think they were confused when they came up with my name, because I am anything but devious! I am a trustworthy pup with a pure, innocent demeanor, always looking to you for reassurance. I just want to know that I have a place in this big ‘ol world and that I belong, just like everyone else. Let me tell you a little about myself. I had a home and a family just over 2 weeks ago. But then they told me I could no longer live there and well, sometimes it’s best to just leave an unstable past in the past. WHBR came and collected me from my prior living arrangements, and I was on the road to a new and brighter future. I arrived to my foster family very nervous and uncertain. You see, I am deaf and I have this medical condition where I will occasionally have seizures, which can be quite scary, but can also be managed well with daily medication. Anyways, I first met my human foster brother, and he was ok. I liked him better after he decided to share some of his human treats with me. -We’re buddies now. Next I got to meet my fur-brother, a fellow boxer. I was a lot more anxious about meeting him. I had only lived with a smaller dog at my previous home, and I never know what other dogs my size will think of me, so I need to make sure they know I am here and make my presence known to them. They call me “big dog selective”, but I’m not one to get into technical terms. All I know is, I like friends who are more submissive/mellow and can help put me at ease when we are first meeting and playing together. Luckily my fur-brother is great, so now we enjoy running in the yard and having a good play session “boxer-style” a few times a day. A couple of days later, I got to meet this small furry thing called a cat. I’m not sure I had ever seen one of those before! I just couldn’t take my eyes off of her! But she just laid there, which got boring pretty quickly so I walked away. I still get interested every time I see her, wondering if she will do anything neat or entertaining, but she rarely does (she’s pretty lazy; or foster momma says she’s “dog savvy” so she just ignores me. –Pshhh). Anyways, she did take off running this one time and I had a great time chasing her into the house! Didn’t catch her though…. And you know, I’m not sure I’d know what to do with her even if I had. She’s just “OK”. She rubs against me like she’s expecting me to “pet” her or something. Cats are weird. So most of my time here has been spent lounging around with my foster family. I like naps. I also REALLY like going for car rides and for walks. In the car, my foster family says I can get a bit loud though. It’s just that I get really excited whenever I see someone out walking or driving in their car as we’re driving by, so I bark to let them know I can see them! And I am pretty good at walking on a leash, honestly. The only thing that really excites/distracts me while I’m doing that is other dogs that might be outside. Again, I like to bark and I get excited when I let them know I’m there walking by. I can get a bit nervous if approached from behind/where I don’t see you coming, or if startled awake from one of my snooze-fests, but I calm quickly and easily with pets and reassurance. I also REALLY enjoy giving smooches. I will smooch you head to toe if you’ll let me (and then you won’t even need a bath! Win-win!). I’m just so thankful when you let me snuggle, I really want you to know how much I love and appreciate you! Dog toys are ok. I prefer the big floppy stuffed ones so I can rip their guts out; that’s pretty fun. Bully sticks are also a pretty yummy treat to chew on, but I prefer ones that have already been chewed a bit (gotta get that perfect texture/scent going before they’re really ready for chewing). I love that my food comes so regularly here! AND, if the human-folk are busy and I’m getting hungry for dinner, I have this neat trick where I just look at them and bark, and they get up and fill my bowl (I’m a pretty big fan of 5pm dinner time, CONSISTENTLY). Speaking of tricks, I may be deaf, but that doesn’t slow me down! I already know some basic skills like “sit” & “shake” to get treats. My foster momma says I am such a smart boy, and I REALLY like treats, so I should pick up more hand signals in no time. Bedtime around here consists of me snuggling my foster-parents in their bed all night long! They have some smallish cushions thrown down on the floor here and there, and the other dog seems to enjoy laying on them, but I’m not really interested in that. I prefer a human lap to snuggle in, or at least a spot on the couch as close to them as I can get! I really don’t like it when they are out of my sight. Makes me nervous. I am also not a big fan of going into the crate. I never had to do that at my other home. I could just roam free there all day long and didn’t have any problems. I haven’t had any accidents or chewed anything I’m not supposed to here either, but I suppose trust takes a little time to build. So I will go into the crate with a treat bribe, and I really like it better if I can see my foster-brother in his crate while we “do our time”. Thankfully I don’t have to go in there very often. Anyways, enough about me, what about you!? Have you filled out your adoption application to see if we might make a good match!? I am looking for my furever home. I just get so attached to my people, I would love to find my perfect person/family and never have to leave them ever again! -Love, Devious Aka Dev or “the-sweetest-boy-on-Earth” Adoption application link bit.ly/WHBRadopt www.Wigglinhomeboxerrescue.org Email: wigglinhomeboxerrescue@gmail.com Phone (360) 723-0219

    Location: USA
Posted Breed: Boxer (short coat). Thor 7 years old Male Only furchild Crate trained White w/Fawn Fostered in Spokane, WA Puzzle. Rubber. Jumbler. Sprinkler. Hut, Hut, HIKE! These are things you will find in my biography. Ready? Here we go! My name is Thor. I am a seven year old Boxer on the outside, but on the inside I feel three years old. I am full of energy and have a way of getting you motivated to move. Sometimes I am subtle, while other times I am quite obvious by setting a toy in your lap. Eh hem! Let’s tug! I am exceptionally skilled at the art of tug-o-war. I also can play independently. I mostly prefer rubber toys. My MOST favorite toys are either the Kong Jumbler Ball or the Kong Jumbler Disc. I like to take the disc and play hut, hut, HIKE! I will shove it between my legs like a center football player snapping a football. Trust me! You will not be able to keep a straight face when I do this. In my free time, like to go for peaceful walks. I am a lovely walking companion. Fun fact, bring three potty bags with you. Yep, we will use all three every time. I have my very own special leash, which my trainer will give you. It has a toy on it so when I get really excited around barking dogs, I can put this in my mouth to calm me down. It works like a charm and we can continue our walk with no fuss. Unlessss we see a sprinkler! Sprinklers are the BEST! I love trying to catch the water in my mouth. Sprinkler or hose. Doesn’t matter to me. I can play with both for hours, but don’t let me. I will get water logged. After my extracurricular activities, I am happy to nap, cuddle, and rest up for another adventure. I am crate trained if you need me to be. I am responsible and trustworthy to be left alone in the house. I am way past all that puppy behavior nonsense. I am a fast eater so my food is served in a puzzle bowl. Right now, I am using the Outward Hound Fun Feeder, the flower pattern. Sometimes my mom lets me use a different pattern just to keep things interesting. I am a good eater and have no allergies. I am an easy keeper and try my best not to cause problems. I like to be in your good graces, so I will work very hard to do so. I have basic obedience skills, but if you would like to strengthen our relationship, teach me more. I hear it is good for the both of us to be lifelong learners. I am always ready to learn and I love me some treats. We can keep each other company. Just us. No other dogs and no cats. Just you and me. I will work my way into your heart so you will never know how you ever lived life without me. I came all the way from California to find you. I think it’s time we connect. Looking forward to meeting you. Love, Thor Adoption application link bit.ly/WHBRadopt www.Wigglinhomeboxerrescue.org Email: wigglinhomeboxerrescue@gmail.com Phone (360) 723-0219

    Kojak

    Breed: Boxer
    Sex: Male Male
    Age: Adult
    Location: USA
Posted Breed: Boxer (short coat). Kojak 3 year old fawn male 80 lbs. Crate Trained Potty Trained Fostered in Spokane, WA Who loves ya, baby? That would be Theo Kojak, the bald, lollipop-sucking New York detective who isn't afraid to bend the rules to bust the bad guys. Wait a second! That’s not me! I am not the 1970s New York detective from an American drama series. No. No. No. I’m the tall, fawn, and handsome, bully stick eating, bouncing everywhere boy name Kojak! Just Kojak. I am one tall glass of water coming in at about eighty solid pounds. In my head, I am about 30 lbs, which is why most of the time I do not know where my body is in space. I think it best not to be around small children. You should see me spin and spin when it is meal time. I get to moving and have no idea where I am going to land. Every day I get dressed up for “work” by putting on my freedom harness and backpack. I do like dressing up. I like it a lot! My backpack makes me feel important. When I go out, I carry rice, my person’s phone, water, and poo bags. I will even carry my own poo home so you don’t have to. I figure it is only fair. The backpack helps calm me when I see other dogs. I can get a bit excited and hyper focused. The more I go on walks and practice my good behavior, the better I have become. I have racked up many miles on the “Walk For A Dog” app earning money for my rescue. Practice makes perfect right and I might as well do a good deed while I am at it. I get compliments all the time. I am so handsome. I don’t want others feeling poorly about themselves because I am disgustingly beautiful. While I am at it, please do not bring home a feline. They are just too delicious . . . er, I mean, independent, for my liking. Let it just be you and me. I will gladly crush, I mean, cuddle you on the couch, nudge you while I am bouncing, drool on your floor at meal time, and play with your feet while you are walking. I will fulfill all your needs. No point in spending money on toys because I just do not see the point. However, I will gladly let you mortgage the house for bully sticks. I very much enjoy the softer things in life. I love soft beds that I can stretch out on and a blanket for snuggling. Wherever my blanket is, that is where I will be napping. I am a quiet fellow because I let my looks do the talking so I don’t have to. I also like to communicate through pee-mail. I send messages to all my neighborhood friends while out on walks on this bush and that bush. Reading pee-mail is fun too! Perhaps we could send mail to one another or better yet, move in together. Please send your mail to Wigglin’ Home Boxer Rescue. Remember, it’s not Theo Kojak, just Kojak. Theo already has a family!
