Golden Retriever
Yellow Retriever
The Golden Retriever has a great personality and is easy to train, making this one of America's favorite family pets. They are good hunting companions and also great with kids.
Mutt
A mongrel, mixed-breed dog
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
Cocker-Pei
The Cocker-Pei is a cross between an Chinese Shar-Pei and a Cocker Spaniel. The Cocker-Pei is a hybrid or designer breed that was developed by crossing Chinese Shar-Pei and a Cocker Spaniel. Though the breed was intended to be a 50/50 mix, many of the Cocker-Pei are bred over many generations and may not always be 50% and 50%. The best way to determine the temperament of a mixed breed is to look up all breeds in the cross and know you can get any combination of any of the characteristics found in either breed. We currently do not have more detailed information for this breed.
Cavachon
The Cavachon is a mix between a Charles Spaniel. This breed is good for people with allergies and adapts well to most living situations.
Rat Terrier
American Rat Terrier
The Rat Terrier comes in three sizes: toy, medium and standard. The breed is used for either hunting or as a companion.
Shih-Poo
The Shih-Poo is a mix between the Poodle and the Shih Tzu. The pups can have the temperament of either breed. Some are better tempered than others.
Rat-Cha
The Rat-Cha is a mix between the Chihuahua and the Rat Terrier. Both breeds are loyal companions who crave time with their master.
Chihuahua
The Chihuahua is a tiny bundle of joy. Kids love him ' and for good reason. This breed seems always excited about something. They do best as an indoor dog, but they love to scamper around in the yard ' in suitable weather.
Poochon
The Poochon is a combination of the Bichon Frise and the Poodle. They can have the characteristics of either of the parent breeds. Since both breeds make good pets, the Poochon should also make a good companion.
