    Primrose

    rescue
    Breed: Doxle
    Sex: Female Female
    Age: Baby
    Location: USA
Posted Breed: Dachshund / Beagle / Mixed (short coat). Meet our beautiful girl, Primrose! She is the only female pup in our litter of Hunger Games puppies. This little family was rescued by some wonderful humans who would not give up on rescuing a pregnant Mama. It wasn't until after she had given birth, that she decided to allow herself and her babies to be rescued. This brindle beauty is also known for her beautiful black heart shape on her nose. She is not only beautiful, but very, very smart. She is the leader of the pack when it comes to bravery. Her brothers have learned so much from her taking the risk and trying new things. Primrose is the smallest of the litter, so she will be more of the Dachshund size, rather than the Beagle that we believe is present in the genes. Of course, it is all a guess. We are looking for families who are home more than not. Puppies need a lot of training and interaction, so being at home for them is a must. This litter will be smaller, so we are looking for families who have experience with small dogs. Older children who are respectful of the boundaries a dog needs and careful around small animals. If you would like to meet our Hunger Games puppies, please visit our website and begin the process with our no-obligation Adoption Application. www.takemehomepetrescue.com/adopt Primrose's date of birth is March 27, 2017. Please visit our website at www.takemehomepetrescue.com for more information. If you are interested in meeting one of our pets, please fill out the on-line adoption application on our website. Dogs Puppies (under 12 months): $275 Dogs (over 12 months) $225 Large-Breed Dogs (over 75 lbs) $250 Cats Kittens (under 12 months) $125 Cats (over 12 months) $100 Rescued Declawed Cats* $145 * TMHPR does not endorse the declawing of cats Safe pet home visits & vet checks are required. For this reason, we only adopt locally - in the Dallas area. For more information about our rescue organization and our available pets, please visit http://www.takemehomepetrescue.com

    Griffy

    verified

    rescue
    Breed: Doxle
    Sex: Male Male
    Age: Young
    Location: USA
Posted Breed: Dachshund / Beagle / Mixed (short coat). To make the adoption process faster and easier, please visit www.caninelifeline.org to submit an online application. This cutie is Griffy, a 1 year-old Doxie/Beagle mix boy who came to us from an overcrowded rural county dog shelter with his sisters Rita and Petunia. We don’t know what caused this trio to become homeless but we suspect that someone’s dog had pups and they weren’t able to find homes for them so when they reached a year-old, off to the shelter they went. Griffy is a happy-go-lucky boy who loves everyone and everything. He loves playing with other dogs so would enjoy having a fun-loving canine pal in his new home. Griffy will likely need some work on housetraining in his new home so would do best with a family who is not gone for long workdays. He came to us with little to no experience on a leash so that’s still a work in progress for him. With a little more practice, he’ll soon be enjoying lots of adventures on the leash with his new family. Griffy weighs about 21 pounds and his adoption fee is $200. He’s neutered, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week trial period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Griffy. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. We have no foster homes with young children so aren’t comfortable placing any of them in a home with children less than 4-5 years of age. We try to respond to inquiries within 24-48 hours so if you haven’t heard from us within that time frame, please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there. Please visit our website at www.caninelifeline.org to see more photos of Griffy and to submit an online application. Please visit http://www.caninelifeline.org/2015/adoption-process/ for more information about our adoption process and to submit an online application.

    Rita

    Breed: Doxle

    Age: Young
    Location: USA
Posted Breed: Dachshund / Beagle / Mixed (short coat). To make the adoption process faster and easier, please visit www.caninelifeline.org to submit an online application. Say hello to Rita, a sweet and loving one year-old Doxie mix female who came into an overcrowded rural county dog shelter with her brother Griffy and sister Petunia. All 3 dogs made the trip to Canine Lifeline so they would have more time to find perfect new homes. We don’t have any history on these kids but it’s likely that someone’s dog had pups and they couldn’t find homes for all of them so when they reached a year-old, they were turned into the shelter. Rita is a beautiful girl who gets along well with all dogs that she’s met and makes friends easily with people too. She will likely need a little work on housetraining in her new home but with some patience and consistency from her new family, she’s sure to get the hang of the house rules. Having another dog in the home for her to follow would likely be helpful too. It appears that Rita had no experience on a leash before she came to the shelter so she is still working on getting comfortable with that. It won’t be long before she realizes that the leash means fun adventures to come. Rita weighs about 18 pounds and her adoption fee is $200. She’s spayed, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week trial period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Rita. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. All of our dogs come to us from county dog pounds so we have no history on them. Herman

    rescue
    Breed: Doxle
    Sex: Male Male
    Age: Adult
    Location: USA
Posted Breed: Dachshund / Beagle / Mixed. Herman is a 25lb Beagle/Dachshund mix. He is shy at first but sure loves to get love and affection. He is super mellow, loves to lay on the couch with you and be scratched on. He loves belly rub and behind the ear scratches. He is fairly overweight and could use a family dedicated to giving him more exercise and a healthy diet. He likes to be around other dogs and he doesn't pay much attention to other animals. He is unsure and can get nervous and run away when startled so a home without small children will be best. Herman is just the cutest, coolest dude around!
