She has tons of personality and energy! She would love to be your hiking companion. Her legs may not be that long but she can go like an energizer bunny! She is super loving, great with kids but may be too bouncy for the tiny ones. We think she is smart and could be taught tricks. She actually has long ears but wouldnt put them down for the pictures lol. Adoption is $375 and includes her spay, rabies, worming, shots, heartworm test and bordatella vaccine. All dogs go home on a two week trial. Please fill out an application on our website at www.thedogspotrescue.org and then email thedogspotrescue@aol.com to make an appointment. Posted Breed: Beagle / Dachshund / Mixed (short coat). My gosh! What a cutie pie!!!!! Prissy Pants is a 15 week old mix of Beagle and Doxie. She presently weighs 10 lbs. and will grow to only about 25 . Her tricolor coat is short, but her love is long! This girl is all about kisses and hugs, and she loves to wrap herself around you. She is sweet, loving, playful, and just wonderful! She loves people and other dogs, too! Better not look at her for too long! You'll fall hard for her, and you'll just have to make her yours!!!! Sounds pretty good to me! (posted 2/9/17, ME, N/A) **It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our wonderful dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our many years in rescue.** Adoption: $285 which covers quarantine, shots, worming, food, medical records, spaying/neutering, and an Alabama State Health Certificate. Transport, if needed : $120.00 We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip from Alabama. We make every effort to arrive with healthy and minimally stressed dogs.

AADR rescued me and my babies after we were found outside in 14-degree weather. I am so happy to be safe and warm in my foster home! I am a standard dachshund mix so I am a big girl. Right now, I weigh around 19 pounds and I'm looking good!! The folks at the rescue believe I may be a dachshund and beagle mix. Does it get any better than that? Well…NO! Foster mom tells me that I am one of the sweetest girls she has ever had. I love to snuggle! Being on foster mom or dad's lap is my favorite spot in the house. I am crate trained and I like to sleep in my doggie bed in foster mom and dad's bedroom at night. And foster mom says I am doing great on house-training too....no accidents!!! In my foster home, I have an older furry foster sister and brother. We all run and play in the back yard. It's lots of fun! Foster mom told me about other furry babies called cats. I haven't seen one since I got here, but foster mom says I'll get to meet one soon...hope they like to play too! I also like to go for walks and take rides in the car. Foster mom believes I will fit in well with a family that has other furry kids and older human kids. I haven't met anyone I didn't like! If you think that I might be the perfect dog for your family, please complete an application. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to email my foster mom. She will tell you all of the wonderful things that you need to know about me! =============== Information for all dogs/adopters ============== If you have questions about this dog please feel free to contact the foster home at the email address listed above. They have the most up-to-date information concerning the dog and would be happy to answer any questions about the animal. We welcome out of state and Canadian adoptions, but we will not ship any dog via cargo. You will have to make arrangements to pick up the dog or for them to go by ground transport. If you choose transporting by either volunteers through our organization or by paid transporter, there will be an additional $45 Fee added for the required Health Certificate. We will not adopt into the state of CT, RI, NH or MA due to strict laws regarding importation of dogs into those states. If you have an issue with this, you need to take this up with your legislatures. To understand the adoption process through AADR, please visit the Adoption Information. Transportation options are outlined on that page in Step 3. If you are interested in adopting this Dachshund please Read Before You Adopt and then you can complete an Application. THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST IN A RESCUE. Please don't let the distance stand in your way of finding your newest best friend. We have volunteers that will help your "new friend" get up and down the East Coast or up and down the West Coast. We just can't get them from one Coast to the other but some day we hope to have enough volunteers to do that as well. For now, please look for dogs on your coast.

We do list and adopt our pets nationwide, so distance is not a problem in most areas. We have a variety of transportation options to bring your new family member to you. (All About Rescue and Fixin' Inc.) http://aarf-tn.com/ is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) no kill animal rescue organization located in the Upper Cumberland area of Tennessee. A.A.R.F. is comprised of unpaid volunteers and survives only on public donations. Adoption donations vary and are subject to change without notice. Thank you for thinking adoption first! Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for feline leukemia and FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption.

Dog's Name: Happy Estimated Breed : Beagle mix Approximate Age: 10 mo Approximate Weight: 16 lbs Currently Living at: foster Adoption Fee: $300 DOG'S DESCRIPTION Happy came from a hoarder that dropped of 20 of their dogs. She is good with other dogs of any size, but a bit timid with people. She really needs a caring person willing to show her how wonderful the love and attention of a human can be. She is sweet and will do best in a home with people who are patient and kind, and understand that all she needs a little bit of time to feel comfortable in her new home and family. Happy wiggles her whole body when she sees you. She'll be well worth the time to make her feel wanted and loved. Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. Please note that on average, K-9 Lifesavers spend significantly more on each dog than their adoption fee. Adoption fee for HW positive dog also covers heartworm treatment at our partner vets.
