Posted Breed: Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed. Candy is as sweet as her name implies! She is around 1.5 years old and is the cutest little Pittie mix you'll ever meet. She came to us in pretty rough shape, having lived on the street most of her life and trying to care for 10 puppies. Transitioning to a life as a pampered house pet has been a bit overwhelming but she is adjusting well and gaining confidence daily. She is looking for a patient family in a quiet and calm home environment where she can continue to learn and grow. In spite of all that has happened to her, Candy has maintained a sweet, loving, and gentle nature. She loves attention and pets and snuggling on the couch. She gets along with other dogs but does not need another dog sibling in her future home to be happy. She is a low energy dog that is satisfied with a few short walks per day. She walks well on leash and is housetrained in her current foster home. She is working on her crate training but can be left home alone uncrated, though does prefer a home where humans are home more often than not. She will need a home without cats or small animals.
