age for commonly asked questions about our adoption/foster process. Hi I’m Swiss. I was born on February 28, 2017. My human mom had stayed up with my mommy all night as she was restless. At 7:20 am the first puppy was born. There are nine of us, so my mommy had her work cut out for her. She did a great job keeping us clean, fed, and warm. She is a good mommy and helps my human mom out by taking good care of us. I have discovered toys! My human mom keeps giving us the toys to chew, on but secretly, I like her toes best. She also has these things called pant legs that I love to chew on. I’m also learning to talk. My human mom wouldn’t call it barking, but we do growl at each other and yelp when a sibling chews on our ears. I like to have my ears stroked while I cuddle with the humans. I will be able to be adopted after April 28, 2017 . My human mom will be scheduling a meet and great after we turn 6 weeks old. Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal. The Petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our animals. Visual breed identification in animals is unreliable so for most of the animals we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each animal as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our animals based on personality, not by breed label. Understand that the shelters are doing their best to place the pets in suitable homes and these requirements are in the best interest of both you and the pet

  5. Meet in person. - Whenever possible it is best to meet the animal in person before agreeing to bring them into your life.
