I don't hold grudges ! My next dad was the best ! He loved me and slept in bed with me everynight - then he died suddenly and I was so sad. I ended up in the shelter for 2 and half months. Then some nice people got me out and now I live in boarding with the Dog Man and his team who have taught me how to walk on a leash sit for treats give my paw and generally be the sweet good boy I am . I LOVE other dogs and people even when they didn't love me back. I am a big guy so I do need a firm loving hand and someone who has experience with guys like me . I love going for walks and meeting other dogs- but sometimes I am a little enthusiastic about it so people get worried - but i don't mean any harm. My broken elbow wasn't given any attention so it healed as it was - but that only means sometimes I get tired on walks and need rest. I take treats like a gentleman and give big slobbery kisses. I would love to be someones best friend and would be a loyal companion to a strong owner who understands me ! Understand that the shelters are doing their best to place the pets in suitable homes and these requirements are in the best interest of both you and the pet

  5. Meet in person. - Whenever possible it is best to meet the animal in person before agreeing to bring them into your life.
