She does love her toys as well, so when not cuddling, she can be found chewing on her toys or running around the back yard. Pit Bull mix Spayed female Approximately 3 years old Approximately 52 pounds Good with dogs? Yes, Tulip lives with an 80 lb. dog and a 15 lb one. She likes both and will run around in back yard with them. She does know her place and listens to the 15 pounder when told to stay away. Good with cats? No Good with kids? Yes- Tulip lives with 2 older kids and loves them, and even visited a school with lots of young children and was wonderful with them! Crate trained? Yes House Trained? Yes Energy level: Medium/Average Shedding amount: Average for breed Tulip is a joyous, sweet princess waiting for her family to adopt her and take her to their castle! She is used to having many toys to play with so she can choose which one she wants to chew on. She especially loves her Kong and Goughnut. She likes her bed to be soft, whether it is a doggie bed, couch or the human bed. However, if you are sitting on a hard surface, she will gladly sit there next to you too! Tulip will run around in excitement and loves to play with her toys and run around the yard if snow is not too high! She is also happy to lie next to you and cuddle as well; a nice mixture of energy. Her humans are what make Tulip truly happy and she will happily give you love and then take a nap while you are busy. You will not find a more devoted love than Tulip! She will need to take a heartworm preventative every month for the rest of her life to prevent a recurrence of this condition! She will also need a follow-up heartworm test to confirm that she is heartworm negative - Good Karma will send her to her new home with monthly heartworm preventatives to last her until this test, and will require proof of her heartworm test when it is due. My adoption fee is $395. All of Good Karma's dogs are given monthly heartworm and flea/ tick preventative YEAR-ROUND while in foster care. The adoption fee INCLUDES: - Spay/neuter - All age-appropriate distemper vaccines - Rabies Vaccine - Deworming - Heartworm test (in dogs over 8 months of age) - Microchip - LIFETIME microchip registration (free updates for life as well) - Any other veterinary treatments or procedures that our director and partner veterinarians deemed were necessary for optimal health or quality of life while the dog was in our care, including x-rays, bloodwork, surgeries, or dental procedures. - State-Required Sales Tax *Good Karma adopts out animals within a 60 mile radius of the Twin Cities, or a 30 minute radius of Duluth and Rochester* Please visit www.goodkarmamn.org to fill out an adoption application. Good Karma Animal Rescue’s approval process includes conducting a home visit before adopters take their new pet home. **Note on breed and age determination: Good Karma Animal Rescue of MN bases our breed and age determinations on appearance, our own knowledge, veterinarian advice, and/or information from the sending shelters or previous owners. Because most of our adoptable dogs were previously in shelters, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s breed mix, and unless there is a specific date of birth listed, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s age.
