proved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant. Carmella is a 1 year old hound pit mix. She was adopted by a husband and wife when she was a puppy. The husband and wife split up and she had to go to a rescue. She is a very sweet dog and seems like she can get along with other dogs and cats. She needs to have an owner that is willing to do some obedience training. She has a wonderful personality but has never been worked with. When we got her she had NEVER been vetted (No rabies, No DHLPP, No Bordetella). She was not spayed. She was full of worms. She tested positive for Lymes disease and is currently going through a 30 day Doxycycline treatment. We now have her current on vetting and she is on Tri-fexis for heartworm and flea prevention and also has been microchipped. She is a good dog that needs to find her “good” owner.
