mans, she thrives on attention and pets and especially enjoys being told what a good dog she is. She also enjoys going for walks, doing very well on a leash, where, in surprise bursts of puppy like energy, she does the "bunny hop" when excited. And because she knows and obeys all of her commands, should she bark at a passing dog, she promptly stops when told. A great fan of treats, her favorite game when returning from a walk is finding out where they’re hidden and retrieving them. Fond of sunbathing in the summer, she’s also fond of sniffing the grass, nosing about here, there and everywhere just to see where it leads. Now she hopes her nose will lead to a loving home without cats or children where she can live as the cuddliest of fur-ever companions.
Since I may be a Pitbull mix, I can't be adopted in the following banned areas: Aurora, Castle Rock, Commerce City, Ft Lupton, Lone Tree, or Louisville.
Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes that every pet should find a wonderful, caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask that you fill out an adoption application form so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application we receive and will contact you as quickly as possible. A home visit will be scheduled before any pet is adopted to a new home. Once a home visit has taken place and the adoption application has been approved, we will ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement form. Our adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter, veterinary exams, vaccinations, microchipping, and foster care, enabling us to save more lives!
Adoption fee is $125 and covers microchip, DAPP, Rabies, Heart Worm test and spay/neuter.

Our adoption process is:
1. Fill out our Adoption Application online.
2. We'll contact you to schedule a home visit.
3. If the pet looks like a great match, fill out our Adoption Agreement online (or Foster-to-Adopt Agreement), pay the Adoption Fee, and arrange to pick up your new furry family member!
