He craves attention and love from you. He'll curl up in your lap for kisses and cuddles. He is very loyal, lovable, calm, well-mannered and enjoys going for walks. He will even sit when you ask him to. He is housebroken and pays no attention to other dogs. San Antonio Pets Alive has treated McDougal for heartworms and he's now ready for the next chapter in his life. If any dog deserves a second chance at a great life, it is sweet McDougal. McDougal qualifies for San Antonio Pets Alive's Seniors for Seniors program ... his adoption fee is waived for an approved adopter at least 55 years of age! McDougal is neutered, current on vaccinations and microchipped. His adoption comes with one free month of pet health insurance. He needs adoption, foster care or transfer to a rescue organization. You can meet him at San Antonio Pets Alive's Everyday Adoption Center inside the Petsmart retail store at 8520 Fourwinds Drive, San Antonio 78239, in the Windsor Park Retail Center, just north of Walzem Road, off the access road of I-35 North & Loop 410, (210) 590-0393. Adoption Center hours are Weekdays 10 AM until 7 PM; Saturdays & Sundays 10 AM until 6 PM. Some shelters might have requirements for a home visit, a fenced yard or require you to visit the pet multiple times before you commit to adopting. Understand that the shelters are doing their best to place the pets in suitable homes and these requirements are in the best interest of both you and the pet
