In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet. 2/9/24 Ember is a sweet, gentle natured puppy who has been waiting for a home of her own. She is a little bit shy, but very loving once she feels secure. Ember's mom is on the smaller side at about 35 lbs. We believe mom is a Kelpie mix or maybe a Shepherd mix, hard to say for sure. Ember is about 4 months old and only weighs about 12-14 lbs, so she won't be very big once grown. My guess is her adult weight will be around 35 lbs. She is almost fully house trained. She gets along fantastic with other dogs of all sizes and ages. She will be a great choice for any family situation. Located in Arkansas, but transport is available. Adopter must be able to pick up or arrange for someone to pick up for them at one of the following times/locations. Our typical adoption fee for puppies younger than 6 months old is $400, and for older puppies and adults, the usual fee is $350. This includes microchip, spay/neuter, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormings, flea/tick treatment, and heartworm test (if over 6 months old) as well as heartworm treatment if they test positive. There is a transport fee of $125-$140 per dog, depending on the transporter. We use Pack Leaders Rescue Dog Transport most often, but also use Hearts Transport as well on occasion. Understand that the shelters are doing their best to place the pets in suitable homes and these requirements are in the best interest of both you and the pet
