There is a $10 fee to submit an application. We do not do first applied, but best match for each individual animal. Application Processing time can run 3 to 7 business days. Adoption fees are Money Order or Cash only. Please check our website FAQ's for information and questions you may have. We are volunteers and our time is very limited, we do not do meet and greets. Please do not apply if you are not sure you want to adopt this dog within the next 5 days. If we are adopting to a home in the NE it maybe up to 30 days and will be a specific day and time set prior to adoption. Be prepared to have to make arrangements in your schedule. For our large sporting and working dog breeds, we require a 6' fenced yard. Please check with your HOA for breed, weight restrictions, etc. We do check. All puppies and adult dogs have been micro-chipped, vaccinated, and treated for; fleas, ticks, worms and parasites, additional treatments will be needed. Our puppies 7 months and older as well as our adult dogs will additionally have been heart-worm tested and Neutered. Our pets are cared for in loving foster homes, most are in the Metro Atlanta and Central Florida areas. Transport is available to the NE, but NOT to NH, RI or MA. Some shelters might have requirements for a home visit, a fenced yard or require you to visit the pet multiple times before you commit to adopting. Understand that the shelters are doing their best to place the pets in suitable homes and these requirements are in the best interest of both you and the pet
