1st to find out if I’m available to meet during the week. Hi, I’m sweet Bonita! The volunteers say I have a great little personality and a quiet, calm and easy-going nature. My leash manners make me a nice walking companion, as I’ve walked calmly alongside the volunteers. Please be alert around doors though, as I do try to bolt through the door of my room, and I don’t want to run out to play and get lost. I’m new to the Mostly Mutts training program, so my trainer will be working on this with me as well as lots of other Mutt manners. My potty manners have been very good on the shelter schedule, so yay for me and hopefully that will be the case in my new home too. I've met a few dogs at the MM shelter and liked them, so if you have a friendly dog, let’s meet to see if we can be walking buddies and maybe even playmates! Walks are great, but do you know what I REALLY love? Belly rubs! I will roll over on my back with feet in the air at a moment’s notice just to make it super easy for you to oblige. We’ll have to take a short break on the belly rubs until my tummy is all healed up. I had masses in my mammary chains, so they have been removed and I’ve been spayed, making my risk of cancer returning low. It may be best that there be older children in my new home, as I tend to startle with sudden noises. In fact, the volunteers learned very quickly that squeaky toys frighten me, and I whined and sought refuge when they were brought out. If you are looking for a calm and affectionate companion, I just may be your girl! Energy level: 4-6. I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped, spayed and my adoption fee is $275.00.

Understand that the shelters are doing their best to place the pets in suitable homes and these requirements are in the best interest of both you and the pet
