rived. Jena was recently adopted, but Tashi is still waiting for her permanent home. After a few weeks in our care and after a few visits to the veterinarian, Tashi is a good shape. She is very pretty 20 pounds dog with a different coloring. Tashi is housebroken and after some training she is pretty well behaved indoors. After coming to the rescue Tashi has come to appreciate a soft bed and she wants to be an indoors dog, no more cold nights outside for Tashi! In her foster home she shares space with other dogs of different size, and Tashi does well with them all. There has never been any aggressive behaviors she enjoys attention and is looking to get a good petting and snuggle whenever she can. Tashi will make a stellar family dog. Tashi and Jena, also available for adoption, were turned into a rural Ohio shelter when their owner 'didn't want them anymore.' Although a little overwhelmed with all the sudden changes, both Tashi and Jena are friendly and affectionate. We will have more information on Tashi and Jena as we get to know them better. Tashi will be visiting the vet soon for a health check, Heartworm test and spay. Tashi is microchipped. Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $69.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information. Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.
