Pet Information CONTACT: UHA ADOPTION COORDINATOR KATJA AT 951-973-2757 OR AT katjahope4animals Description: United Hope for Animals · February 8 at 10:54 AM · Edited · · #A5348706 Bella is a demure 2-year-old grey-with-white spayed female Border Collie and Labrador Retriever mix whose former did not want the responsibility of having a dog and surrendered her at the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on January 24th along with her companion Luke [A5248705] and their puppies (who have been adopted). Weighing 46 lbs, Bella is overwhelmed in the shelter environment but s he remains cooperative and gentle. Once our volunteers coaxed her into a quiet area, she enjoyed being pet and gave us sweet little kisses. She walks nicely on leash and should be easy to teach should you want her to know additional obedience skills. Bella is accustomed to living with another dog though she was a little nervous around dogs in the shelter’s playgroups. This reaction is not surprising given that she’s nervous at the shelter in general. We expect with proper introduction, she will be fine living with another dog. Bella will be a doting and rewarding best friend in a loving forever home.
