me with children under the age of ten. She loves attention and loves walks around the neighborhood, but also loves to relax at home on her dog bed. She has not attempted to go up or down stairs at her foster home (she does not have a need, for all her needs are met on the first floor). Is house broken and cage trained. Loves food and treats. Our adoption fee includes the dog's spay/neuter surgery, parvo/distemper shots and rabies shots (for dogs over 6 months), deworming, microchipping, flea and tick protection, heartworm testing (for dogs over 6 months), and monthly heartworm protection until the dog gets adopted. Many states have larger populations of adoptable dogs and their shelters are willing to transport pets to suitable adopting families. Some shelters might have requirements for a home visit, a fenced yard or require you to visit the pet multiple times before you commit to adopting. Understand that the shelters are doing their best to place the pets in suitable homes and these requirements are in the best interest of both you and the pet
