l info of how to apply at www.sadt.info a great people greeter for a small mom and pop store or a therapy dog visiting nursing homes/hospitals Mickey is a very sweet companion dog he loves his people and all people when I take him for a walk he wants to say hi to everyone he's fine around passing bikes, dogs, kids etc but not too fond of skateboarders I observed him around older kids and he liked them one be fine or just as your companion he plays fetch his tennis balls are the ones that are smaller then a Tennis ball so they fir in his mouth he does like to chew on them too but not chew up He's ok wading in the water but not a water dog he's good walking on a no pull harness gentle leader and I use a 16 foot retractible leash to give him freedom to roam some but can also shorten when around people etc I think most of all he loves attention from his people and go for walks he did not grow up or live with any dogs so we like to keep it that way if you want him to have play dates you can try that we have not but he does not have any aggression towards any dogs we passed Chihuahas and he did not care he's not fond of larger dogs as I think they scare him so he ignores most of them but maybe he likes the females more though he's fine and seems to like the male dogs through the fencing that fosters have Mickey also like to talk and make eye contact you could not ask more of a dog he has a super personality He does get a little whiny when he gets excited but not in a loud way so you must have the patience and be a kind person we are only looking for a kind soul to be with him as he's not one that needs anything harsh in his life he doesn't ask for much but your love and companionship and we wants a big fenced yard he can run in, play in and explore he has a big yard now at his foster home and a dog door he loves it if it's small it's ok too as long as he gets daily walks and playtime and lots of hanging out with his owners Dogs like Mickey don't come around that often He surely is a diamond in the rough we are looking for healthy folks that are ready to be Mickeys stable companions someone that knows the Boxer breed as Boxers never get old and always young at heart Mickey weighs about 45 pounds and so unique looking he's around 5 years old give or take a bit he knows how to sit and come on a no pull harness he walks well his personality shines he loves people and seems to love dogs too he's a huge love bug with a huge personality ready for a second chance in life when you meet him you will fall in love with this cute unique looking goof ball with his happy big smile and soulful eyes In 17 years of rescue I have done this is by far one of the best dogs I have met he also appreciates the extras and the love and attention We are looking for the best of best homes for Mickey he deserves it all are you it? adoption fee references, fenced yard, pics of home
