#39;m not one to complain about getting old, nope, I take life by the horns and live each day to the fullest! Although I prefer to be the only animal in the home, I'm perfect in every other way. I LOVE kids, I'm really gentle, I am a great walker, I'm loyal, basically, everything you have ever wanted in a companion. I know it's hard to take a chance on an older dog wondering how long they are going to be around, etc. But what have you got to lose? Understand that the shelters are doing their best to place the pets in suitable homes and these requirements are in the best interest of both you and the pet
