itted adopter. Yes, Xuxu is very cute. But he’s also reactive to strangers, and protective of his person. He will bark/growl and could be a bite risk if someone were to force him to interact before he’s comfortable. He recently attended an adoption event in Texas and once his foster mom walked away, someone else was able to pick him up and put him in their lap, and he was just fine. Once he gets to know you, which happens quickly if his “person” is not around, Xuxu is an amazing and loving guy. He enjoys playing with other dogs but has not met any cats. Xuxu would be a very loyal companion to somebody that was more of a homebody and doesn’t frequently have guests over. He would do fine with someone who works out of the home as he is crate trained. He just needs an adopter who understands that Xuxu will not be your adventure buddy. Our dogs live in private foster homes or boarding kennels down south until adopted, and foster care homes through out MV, Cape Cod and other parts of MA.
