ith? Go for walks with? Maybe you need someone to give treats to?? If that's the case, I think we should chat! I do have what my foster mom calls "stranger danger". I am very selective of people that I trust and am not going to do well in a home with people coming and going a lot. Because I am a little girl and a little "mature", you will need to excuse me if it takes me a bit to warm up to you totally. You see, I didn't have a really super life up til now, and it takes me a bit to trust, but once I know I am safe with you, you are going to have a shadow :) I sleep in my crate and I am potty trained. Little kids scare the dickens out of me, so I really don't do well with them, but older kids who will give me my space, they are ok! Please give an old girl a break, I would love to meet you! Many states have larger populations of adoptable dogs and their shelters are willing to transport pets to suitable adopting families. Some shelters might have requirements for a home visit, a fenced yard or require you to visit the pet multiple times before you commit to adopting. Understand that the shelters are doing their best to place the pets in suitable homes and these requirements are in the best interest of both you and the pet
