Spikey is a 3 year old chihuahua mix weighting about 15 lbs. He has an adorable baby face but is a macho man at heart. Spikey loves attention, yet he is very independent. He is quiet and a very good companion. Spikey prefers people to other dogs. She will tolerate some and growl at others. He will be less anxious and more affectionate if he is the only dog in the home and with someone who is home most of the time. He is not suitable for first time dog owners. He is a very unique dog yet can show very loving affection given the right home environment. . He is very intelligent and learns quickly. He is good on a leash and is housebroken too! Spikey is neutered, microchipped and current on his vaccines. His adoption fee is $250. All Second Chance Dog Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, are up to date on vaccines and have microchips prior to adoption. Adoption fees vary depending on age of dog.
