ake County Animal Shelter where he was heartworm positive and in need of some TLC. Terry has been treated for heartworms (he will need to be on crate rest for a few weeks and requires two follow up visits, neutered and is up to date on his vaccines. Terry LOVES to play with toys and is hilarious to watch when he carries toys around that are three times his size. He will do best in a home with adults only (no children). If you would like to meet this little fella please fill out an application today. Our hospital is open for adoption visitation Monday through Friday from 7:30 to 5:00pm and Saturday's from 8:00am to 11:00am. Prior to meeting an adoptable animal we do require an approved application to be on file, sorry for this inconvenience. Cat adoption fees are $50 for kittens under 16 weeks of age and $75 for kittens/cats over 16 weeks of age. Dog adoption fees are $150 for puppies under 16 weeks of age and $175 for dogs over 16 weeks of age.

Understand that the shelters are doing their best to place the pets in suitable homes and these requirements are in the best interest of both you and the pet

  5. Meet in person. - Whenever possible it is best to meet the animal in person before agreeing to bring them into your life.
