I am a quick learner, so I am totally settled in. I like the fact that they let me sit in their lap and rub my back and belly. I just love being loved. I am still a little shy because of my memories of not being treated very well. I love to eat…but what dog doesn't. I am being taught that I cannot beg all the time when they are eating. If they get up, then I get up. I like to follow them to see what they are doing, and you never know, they may give me something to eat. I have 3 foster siblings and they let me sleep in the bed with them that way we all stay warm and cozy. I am very good at going outside to do my business and I sleep all night, so they really like that. I really do want to go to my furever home so that I can call someone my very own. If you want a dog that will let you love on them and follow you everywhere then you could be the one for me. Have you seen my pictures? I am adorable! BIO: Anita came from a situation where she was living in trash and burrowing tunnels through it to get to any food she could find. She’s a little on the shy side, and it takes her a bit to warm up but when she does, she’s so very sweet. Can you make her next years so much better than the last five she’s suffered? While we know she gets along with other dogs we think she’d also be fine as an only dog so she can bask in all the attention.
