EXTENSIVE SOCIALIZATION WITH HUMANS AND OTHER ANIMALS IS A MUST FOR THIS BREED, FAILURE TO DO SO WILL RESULT IN A DANGEROUS DOG THAT IS A LIABILITY TO BOTH PEOPLE AND OTHER ANIMALS. WE DO NOT SHIP OUR RESCUES YOU MUST BE ABLE TO TRAVEL TO OUR ADOPTION CENTER IN GUTHRIE OKLAHOMA TO ADOPT. All puppies need to be taught all those good things that puppies need to learn in order to grow up to be good adult dogs. A puppy is a project! But there is nothing this little one would love more than to grow up in a loving home. Ebony was born in April 2019. She came to our rescue after she was abandon by her owners that moved away left her, she was seized by animal control after they had posted notices of abandonment. Ebony is very feisty but sweet natured. The staff and volunteers here at the rescue are spending a lot of time with each puppy to help them feel loved! So far they really love attention and people and get very excited when taken out of their kennel. It is not recommended for a female Chow Chow to live with another female dog as it will often result in aggression. Ebony's kennel is equipped with a doggie door so she is just learning to go outside to use the bathroom. If you are interested in Ebony please complete and submit an online application and a Pet Angels Adoption Counselor will respond to your application within 72 hours. Applications do not obligate you to adopt, however they provide information that is key to matching the right pet with the right home. Thank you for adopting! Please remember that the puppy will likely require extra vet appointments with your vet until they are fully vaccinated with 4 sets of booster vaccines, and have a negative fecal exam. The adoption fee is $250. This dog has had its age appropriate vaccinations brought up to date with rabies shot (4 m & older), heartworm tested (4 m & older) and/or started on prevention, basic dewormer, spayed or neutered and microchipped by 24Petwatch with free registration , and also comes with 30 days of free 24Petwatch Pet Insurance .
