t is not his fault, as he was really set up for failure. At 5 years old he has not been neutered and also has food aggression. One may very well be linked to the other, as his hormones have been in charge. Free feeding has also been in the picture which should never be the case with a food aggressive dog. Bonny was left alone with the 2 year old child and of course a bite occurred. Bonny now needs to start all over again in a home where he will have structure. He is being neutered in coming days and will also have his skin addressed, as he appears ro have an infection. Bonny needs an experienced owner who will give him plenty of exercise and teach him the rules of the game. He has not lived with other dogs and does not seem to be great with them (this may resolve with socialization and also with the neuter). Bonny is current on all shots, microchipped and heartworm negative. He is very friendly once he trusts and enjoys a good scratch and belly rub. That said, he needs an experienced owner who will take things slow. If you are looking for the chance to rehab a dog, then Bonny would be a great candidate. He's a great boy with huge potential but was simply in the wrong home. Everyone deserves a second chance, one mistake defines no one!
