Our job is to find those someone's. Our most successful adopters come to CPR not because they want a dog. They come to us because they want to give a dog a home. CPR pulled him from the local shelter. Owners did not want. Foster location: Dreamweaver Farms, Pacolet SC Special Needs? Ear infections - he is being treated now and is slowly getting better but those ears will most likely require ongoing maintenance. He had entropian surgery on his left eye and needs suture removal end of January. Weight: 30 lb Height: 18 in Spayed/Neutered: Yes Adoption Fee: $269 Fence needed? No What kind of home would be best for me? Moses is a family dog. He is looking for an active family that wants a loving companion. Moses would really like to be the only dog. He would be fine in a home with cats. What is my personality like? Moses is a loving boy. He is still young and has a lot of energy. Moses has a tendency to to bark when he first meets other dogs - we really think he would prefer to be your one and only. Moses is fine with cats. He will sniff them curiously and then ignore them. We have not observed him playing with toys yet. Moses walks well on a leash and rides well in a car. Moses absolutely hates being in a crate- and wants to be out with his humans! We have learned that Moses can be stubborn, and will nip if he is being made to do something he does want to do. It is best to use treats to get him to do what you would like him to do since he is highly treat motivated. This behavior may be able to be corrected with a trainer. How do I act when I first meet new people? Friendly Other tips and tidbits: We aren't sure how a family could not want this precious boy, but know Moses's forever family is waiting for him! House trained? Dogs can be house trained if they are in the right environment and are allowed to follow a schedule as long as a physical reason doesn't keep them from being trained. A dog house trained in my home may not be in yours. We will help you teach your new dog this necessary skill and based on your schedule. Please note - we do not ship dogs. If you are interested in adopting, please take a look at the distance between the foster home location and your location and make sure you are willing to make that trip. You are not being screened for a specific dog although we are looking to see what type of dog interests you - poodles or non poodles, color, age, etc. Others here may be a better fit for you. It is very difficult to get to know a living animal from a picture and a short description. Since we are constantly getting in new dogs, this may be a dog not in our listings yet.
