ou can get up. And those eyes. Resistance is futile. This guy is so incredibly affectionate. His foster mommy makes sure to give each dog in the house a few minutes of one on one time and he is always first in line (so he can get in the back of the line for more!) While he gets along with other dogs, as he wasn’t raised around a lot of activity and horseplay, he gets upset by others playing and turns a little aggressive. Stig was rescued when he was a year old and his person thought he may have been abused over housebreaking. This has caused him to have some issues with completely housebreaking, but he is familiar with a doggie door. We have not tried crating as he’s never been crated and his foster mommy is afraid he’ll hurt himself trying to escape. Stig’s most marketable feature is his almost uncanny ability to hold down an object. Pillow, blanket, pile of clothes, sofa…a BED! It’s remarkable, really. In light of his very important anchoring duties, Stig prefers a calm, quiet dwelling. He’s good with adults and quickly finds his way into the lap of any unsuspecting newcomers, but a great deal of stimuli makes him a little cranky. Stig is just a lovable, huggable bundle of sweetness who is looking for his next person to share a lap with. Please scroll to bottom of page for additional info about me and my email contact. Understand that the shelters are doing their best to place the pets in suitable homes and these requirements are in the best interest of both you and the pet
