e I am a Doberman, but it is all just an act-because if you come close, I will actually just put my head down so you can rub my velvety soft ears, but don't tell anyone okay, I want to keep my street cred going and the squirrels needn't know I'm actually a big softie. I will help keep your backyard free of critters and if you have a doggy door, I will run in and out and make sure everything is safe. I rarely bark, so your neighbors won’t get mad at me. What is your favorite game? Mine is stuffy toy solitaire fetch. When no one is available, I entertain myself by tossing and catching my toys in the air. I am 3 years old and weigh 80 lbs. I love to play with all size dogs, like my giant foster brother the Great Dane to my newest foster brother that is only 20 pounds. I like all sizes of people, babies, toddlers or even big ones. My Foster Mom has cats, but I still like to chase them, so a house without kitties is probably easier. I am completely potty trained and crate trained (I don’t need to be in a crate, but if I have to be, I am ok).
What is your favorite rub spot? My absolutely favorite thing is for you to rub my ears and I will slowly melt down to the ground and let you rub my belly. I didn’t used to be soft and I was missing a lot of fur, but with good food and vitamins, I now have a beautiful shiny coat that just makes people want to love on me (that’s what my foster Mom says). I am very smart and know basic commands like sit, stay (I am really good at this one, especially when Foster Mom gives us vitamins in yummy pill pockets) and I bet I can learn any trick you want. My favorite toy is my purple Kong stuffy. I even take it to bed with me. I can get rough with my stuffed toys, but after foster Mom put my stuffed toys in time out, now I am gentle with them. I have a bad history but I don't even remember those days anymore, but Foster Mom says I was found skinny, with cuts all over, and lots of fleas. I couldn’t walk without being in pain because I had extra toenails on all of my feet. Callaghan Road Vet removed them and now I prance and adore going on walks. I'm a giant cuddle bug who loves to sleep on humans. I do have heartworms and am being treated to kill them and be good as new. Adopt me! Please just email Adoptions@Godsdogsrescue.org and tell them you want ME!
