#039;s done well with children of all ages. The veterinary notes say that he is fearful in the office and to use caution. Well...he is a German Shepherd and we like to say around here that a German Shepherd is not a Golden Retriever..... Boomer is house trained, good on leash, and fine in the car. Typical GSD that they simply want to be part of a family and they adore their humans and desire our companionship - many of them also protect us. Boomer is here because his human father passed away and it seems by vet notes they lived in the woods which may be why his human mom is looking for a new home and temporarily staying with family. Boomer likes water and in the spring, summer, fall seasons needs to be kept on a flea product as he is allergic to flea bites. He sure has a gorgeous full coat of fur now and his colors of sable are INCREDIBLE! Boomer is gorgeous. The Adoption Fee for this dog is $100.00. Adoptions fees vary based on adoptability. In general our fees include spay/neuter, all age appropriate vaccines, Home Again micro-chipping & registration, worming & flea control - a "complete" pet. We accept CASH or Visa/Mastercard ONLY. Joyful Rescues has no funding except for our adoption fees and miscellaneous donations. Pet care and vet bills are expensive - you must be ready to take on this financial (as well as emotional) responsibility. YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 25 YEARS OF AGE TO ADOPT A DOG FROM JOYFUL RESCUES We keep our pet list as up-to-date as possible. As soon as a pet is adopted, it is removed from the list. Understand that the shelters are doing their best to place the pets in suitable homes and these requirements are in the best interest of both you and the pet
