Each adopter must observe for themselves pre-adoption and make decisions for themselves the suitability of said dog and their tolerance levels for transitional time when adopting a shelter dog. We ask that each adopter take their time when making the choice to bring home a rescued dog.

Aragon appears to be a purebred German Shepherd and about 2 years old. He has no known history, he came from a small remote shelter in the central valley.
Aragon is a beautiful coal black, bi-color shepherd who is looking for that special person to call his own. He is loyal, loving, drop dead gorgeous and fun loving. He has a swagger that turns heads, loves walk, hiking. Aragon is a medium sized and energy shepherd. Great for an active family who would like to take their dog to parks and the soccer practice and hiking on the weekends. He is well mannered and pretty easy on the leash. He sits *most* of the time. He is young and still has his knucklehead moments as well. He has been taking out hiking and is a wonderful off leash candidate. He sticks close and doesn't wander. He is good with the other dogs though he is mildly alpha. He is easy to tell to knock it off though. Aragon has a wonderful temperment and is an A + dog.
Adoption is $425.00 and includes his neuter, shots, rabies, bordetella, de worming treatment, heart worm test and a chip. He comes with a 2 week trial post adoption.
If interested in Aragon, please fill out an line application at: thedogspot.rescuegroups.org and then contact us for a meet and greet at: thedogspotrescue@aol.com.
He is waiting to meet you and you will not be disappointed!
Your Adoption Fee covers the following expenses: Spay/Neuter, DHLPP, Bordatella, Rabies (if age appropriate), De-worming and Frontline/Advantage
Please Note: Shelter/rescue dogs have been exposed to many pathogens such as kennel cough, parasites, diseases and conditions some of which may not have been discovered prior to adoption. Any dog that shows symptoms here at TDS are routinely identified, taken for tests and treatment. Our vet bills can exceed $10,000 a month. However, without symptoms, we may miss a disease, or pre-existing condition or parasite. Consider carefully if you have the tolerance for these possibilities. We consider, you, the adopters, the last leg of the rescue process.
