Raising a puppy requires a lot of work and is a commitment! Huckleberry will be an awesome addition to a family that can give him the attention, exercise, training and affection he deserves. Due to the fact that this is a mixed breed puppy, we, nor our vets, cannot guarantee the size that your dog will be. Health: Huckleberry has been neutered and microchipped. He is current on his DHPP, Bordetella, and Rabies. He has been wormed and flea treated, and tested negative for heartworm. Hips have been x-rayed. No evidence of degenerative changes. Approved applicant will have full access to his vets, as well as report, prior to meeting Huckleberry. History: Huckleberry comes from an overcrowded shelter in California. PUP was asked to help and we are so glad we did. All dogs PUP pulls from California come with health certificates, as required by Washington state. Notes from Huckleberry's Foster Home: This is an amazing puppy! Huckleberry AKA Huck is a big boy with a very sweet and gentle disposition. Although he is still young and loves to play, he is also content quietly and calmly sitting at your feet and seems to like to snuggle up next to you. He can be a little shy at first but it doesn’t take him long to make friends. He seems to be very intelligent as he is learning his commands very quickly (week one and we’ve learned “sit” and “leave it”) and is walking well on leash. His house training is coming along nicely and he sleeps quietly in his crate through the night. Huck is wonderful boy and would be a great family dog. Note: The above description reflects the behavior we have observed in the dog's foster home. Although PUP provides adopters up to the minute information on our dogs, we cannot guarantee they will behave in the same manner in a different environment with new owners.
