e’s missing one of her back feet. She was born without the foot, and true to her GSP nature, doesn’t seem to care one bit. She romps around and is a go, go, go kind of girl! Some of that go needs to be refined by her forever home. Nala will benefit from a home where she’ll get all the exercise she needs as well as some continued work on her training. But she has a great foundation so far! She is crate trained and sleeps in there through the night, and walks nicely on leash with a harness. She also will need continued socialization and training with other dogs to learn the right way to be BFFs with fellow canines. Nala is seeing a specialist to evaluate options for her missing back foot. We’ll update this space soon! In the meantime, if you think Nala could be the right fit for your family, please apply! Many states have larger populations of adoptable dogs and their shelters are willing to transport pets to suitable adopting families. Some shelters might have requirements for a home visit, a fenced yard or require you to visit the pet multiple times before you commit to adopting. Understand that the shelters are doing their best to place the pets in suitable homes and these requirements are in the best interest of both you and the pet

  5. Meet in person. - Whenever possible it is best to meet the animal in person before agreeing to bring them into your life.
