Dogs may present themselves differently in different environments, therefore The Dog Spot Rescue, their agents, volunteers, can not guarantee behavior, age, size expectations, breed, house Training, destructive behavior tendencies, and/or medical issues. All dogs from shelters have been subjected to pathogens from the shelter level which can materialize into disease in the future. Each adopter must observe for themselves pre-adoption and make decisions for themselves the suitability of said dog and their tolerance levels for transitional time when adopting a shelter dog. We ask that each adopter take their time when making the choice to bring home a rescued dog. Please read the Profile below for this darling puppy, Daisy and decide if this sounds like a good match for your family. Adoption is $400.00 which includes her spay, shots to date of adoption, bordetella, de worming treatment, flea meds applied by our vet, basic exam and a chip. Daisy comes with a two week trial post adoption. Pups will be met in Elk Grove and all pups altered before they go home. Puppy will go home with his medical paperwork which will be in a file folder for you. Profile for Daisy: Daisy is a tender souled puppy with big brown eyes and a gentle heart. She is a cuddle bunny who enjoys belly rubs, playing with her siblings, following you around. A typical innocent, happy puppy. Daisy is a soul mate type of puppy and will bond deeply with that special human she can call her own. Daisy will be a medium sized small dog and should be under 20 pounds upon maturity. She is looking for that home where dogs are part of the family and are not disposible when life gets rough. She needs a mature, secure owner who has a home with a yard, time to spend with a growing puppy and tolerance for pee, poo and chew. Daisy wants an interactive life, sharing his owners lifestyle and adventures. She will need a good routine, puppy classes so she can grow up with good manners, social opportunities with cats, dogs, children, strangers. This will help her become a calm , cool adult dog. Your Adoption Fee covers the following expenses: Spay/Neuter, DHLPP, Bordatella, Rabies (if age appropriate), De-worming and Frontline/Advantage Please Note: Shelter/rescue dogs have been exposed to many pathogens such as kennel cough, parasites, diseases and conditions some of which may not have been discovered prior to adoption. Any dog that shows symptoms here at TDS are routinely identified, taken for tests and treatment. Our vet bills can exceed $10,000 a month. However, without symptoms, we may miss a disease, or pre-existing condition or parasite. Consider carefully if you have the tolerance for these possibilities. We consider, you, the adopters, the last leg of the rescue process.
