He was then rescued by another group who boards their dogs and one day Daryl decided he had enough of being crated and refused to go back to jail! That's when a volunteer with The Last Resort was contact and Daryl became a TLR dog living in a foster home in NC. Daryl is a 6 year old Black English Labrador Retriever with a gorgeous white blazed chest. He does have a grey muzzle but wears it quite distinguished. Daryl weighs 90lbs, is neutered and fully vetted/healthy. What can we tell you about this guy? He's house trained and well mannered in the home, he gets along well with other dogs but would be great as an only dog also, he likes to take rides in the car and he's great on a leash. The only thing he doesn't like is a crate. So we're looking for a home for Daryl who isn't gone for long periods of time. Daryl will remain in foster care in NC until adopted at which time he can be transported to MD or NJ. ~~~~~The Last Resort is a foster based rescue. Our dogs are in our foster homes all up and down the east coast. We do not have a facility in which you can visit. We find this a huge benefit because we learn our dogs and are able to educate our adopters on what it’s like to have them live in your home. Part of our process, once pre-approved, is to speak with the foster for the dog you’re interested in.
