on-Sat. 11-4pm. Some of us are in foster homes so please call 770-272-6888 1st to find out if I’m available to meet during the week. I’m a lover of people who seeks out attention and is very friendly and sweet! When we’re inside our home, I’ll be great company and we can lounge around or I’ll sit close to you while you work, read or watch TV. When we go out on a leash, I’ll need your help learning not to pull and with redirecting me when I see other dogs. For whatever the reason, it seems that don’t like most other dogs and I can be very vocal about it and pull strongly on the leash. I also react fiercely to my own reflection in the glass or mirrors. The volunteers have been working with me, and I’m learning to get along better with some dogs. So, I will probably want to be your only dog, unless the other dog in your home is calm and non-reactive. We’d have to meet first to be sure. I don’t think I would like kitty cats either, but I’ll be worth it as I’m great company and just love people. I’m a smart guy and have learned “sit”, “come” and “leave it” (for when I’m barking at my reflection). A home with older kids is best, since my reaction to other dogs and my reflection is strong, it could scare younger kids. I have very good potty manners on the shelter schedule and am quiet in my little room too. Sadly, I wasn't kept on Heart Worm prevention in my previous home, so I'm HW positive. The good news is that I'll be treated for that in a few months and Mostly Mutts will cover the cost of that treatment with one of their vets. I hope to be with my family before treatment starts! Energy level: 4-6 in general. I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped, neutered and my adoption fee is $100.00.

Understand that the shelters are doing their best to place the pets in suitable homes and these requirements are in the best interest of both you and the pet
