Benji is a smaller lab mix that loves to give soft kisses and be near his people. He was saved from a shelter and can be a bit timid at first, but he warms up very quickly. One good sniff and Benji will want to be your best friend! He is very gentle with us and plays extremely well. His favorite toy is a tennis ball, which he loves to play fetch with or just roll it around by himself. He settles down nicely and doesn't make much noise in the house and his tail wags like crazy when he sees his people! Benji loves playing outside, running around after squirrels or just lying around to soak up some rays! If you're looking for a new companion, Benji is an awesome guy to have around! Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal. The Petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our animals. Visual breed identification in animals is unreliable so for most of the animals we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each animal as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our animals based on personality, not by breed label. Many states have larger populations of adoptable dogs and their shelters are willing to transport pets to suitable adopting families. Some shelters might have requirements for a home visit, a fenced yard or require you to visit the pet multiple times before you commit to adopting. Understand that the shelters are doing their best to place the pets in suitable homes and these requirements are in the best interest of both you and the pet
